ICROFS: LiveFishHealth

Our new project LiveFishHealth, funded by ICROFS, aims to develop a bioencapsulation technology for the vaccination of early-stage rainbow trout against Rainbow Trout Fry Syndrome (RTFS) in organic aquaculture production. The project will develop organic mass production of white worms intended to function as both a nutritious live feed for cultured fish, and as a vehicle for the administration of RTFS vaccines to juvenile fish. The project is a collaboration between Aarhus University, Technical University of Denmark, and the company Fishlab and will run from 2024-2027.
