WHY SHOULD WE COLLABORATE?
Johan-Ulrik Lervang from Innovation Fund Denmark will give a presentation on why we need more research and business collaboration between the universities and businesses (5 min.)

BIRD STUDIES VIA CITIZEN-SCIENCE
Henning Heldbjerg from Dansk Ornitologisk Forening (DOF) (the Danish Ornithological Society) has done his industrial PhD in collaboration with DOF and Bioscience. In this presentation, he shares his experiences with this type of collaboration (5 min.)

BIOREFINERY OF SEAWEED
Senior scientist Annette Bruhn from Bioscience and senior scientist Anne-Belinda Bjerre from the Danish Technological Institute will talk about their eight-year interdisciplinary collaboration at Algae Center Denmark (5 min.).

TOXIC ALGAE AND ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING
In connection with a master’s seminar, biology student Sigrid E. Mikkelsen had a project collaboration with NIRAS. Along with special consultant Per Andersen from NIRAS, she will talk about their experiences with the subject – ”The industrial project” (5 min.)

12.45 - 13.15: One Minute Madness

 All participants from the industry and the department’s researchers present themselves in one minute with one slide in the séance called One Minute Madness.

13.15 - 15.30: Networking at the stands

All participating businesses, organizations and authorities will get a stand in Stakladen, where researchers and students can meet the businesses and talk about current and future opportunities for collaboration.

Stands can be set up in Stakladen from 10-12. We will provide sandwiches, coffee/tea and water while you set up the stands. 

Remember to bring e.g. roll-ups, company flyers, merchandise, job listings or, perhaps, some treats for your visitors.
