We are pleased to invite you to the 23rd Danish Marine Research Meeting, which will be held on January 20-22, 2026, at Konventum in Helsingør (find more information on the homepage here). The meeting brings together researchers, authorities, and private actors from across the country to share the latest knowledge, promote collaborations, and discuss challenges and opportunities within the marine environment.
The meeting is organized by Aarhus University (represented by the Department of Ecoscience) and Ocean Institute on behalf of the Danish National Council for Oceanology (DNO).
As part of the program planning, we invite you to submit proposals for sessions that reflect current topics and challenges for the marine environment. The sessions can focus on specific research areas, interdisciplinary approaches, or practical solutions to the problems our seas face. We encourage collaboration across organizations to ensure the broadest possible interest!
Practical information:
- Deadline for submission of proposals: March 15, 2025
- Format: Provide a title, a short description (max 300 words), and the expected number of presentations. Also include responsible persons.
- Submission: Send your proposal to havforsker2026@au.dk with the subject “Session Proposal - Danish Marine Research Meeting 2026”
