DEPONS is led by a Steering Committee consisting of the six sponsors Vattenfall Wind Power Ltd, SMart Wind Ltd, Forewind, East Anglia Offshore Wind Limited, Eneco Luchterduinen and DONG Energy Wind Power A/S.

Vattenfall, being the initiator and main sponsor, is responsible for management of the project  towards the Steering Committee ,  while Aarhus University is responsible for the design and execution of the project.
